My first job was in hotel representation, based in Sloane Square, London. From there, I moved to Anguilla, where I spent 7 years as Assistant General Manager of a luxury boutique resort, overseeing sales & marketing as well as operations. After a brief stint in the USA, I relocated to Bangkok to work with Amari Hotels & Resorts as Marketing Manager & Director of PR Communications. Several years later, I moved to Doha, Qatar, and then spent 13 happy years in Dubai running my own PR Consultancy. With over 35 years as a working expat, I have gained valuable insights into the lifestyle and challenges faced in the expat travel, tourism & hospitality sectors. Now back in the UK, I operate my own travel marketing consultancy, focusing on coaching for expats in their return home and retirement journeys, as well as providing expat retirement support and life planning for retirees.
